On Saturday, March 7, Lluís Rosich, chef at Cachitos Rambla, lit up the stoves at the well-known Fira ÀPAT, offering a showcooking session that ended with a spectacular rice dish.
Among stands filled with local producers, tastings, and conversations about locally sourced products, Rosich stepped into the demonstration area without much protocol, sharing a relaxed moment with the audience. Within minutes, he already had a paella pan over the fire.

As the oil began to heat up, the chef explained—true to his approachable style—the secrets of a great rice dish: absolute respect for the ingredients, control of the heat, and above all, patience.
The result spoke for itself: a spectacular black rice with red prawns and alioli.

At a fair dedicated to Catalan produce and the region’s gastronomic culture, Lluís Rosich’s spontaneous gesture served as a reminder of something essential: that cooking, even at major events, is ultimately an act of sharing.
